Teaching

For the last few years I’ve been teaching at Victoria College at the University of Toronto. My official title is the Blake C. Goldring Professor. I’m the coordinator of the Creativity and Society minor and also teach in the Vic One program for first-year students. I also recently became the Launch Director for the Centre for Creativity.

I helped found The Flying Books School of Reading and Writing, and while I’m not directly involved there at the moment, I still think those folks are boss, so feel free to check them out if you are in the market for a mini-course.

Before that, I taught for 14 years at Laurentian Unviersity’s campus in Barrie, Ontario. I’ve also done the odd gig at York University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and at Holy Blossom Temple.
